Stillwater House is a suburban refuge shaped around an inward garden and a slowed procession of light. A series of simple offset gabled forms are linked by low flat green roof connectors, creating a calm pavilion composition that breaks the home into human scaled volumes while quietly organizing privacy, view, and daily routine. Layered thresholds, vertical screens, and carefully framed openings create moments of pause between inside and out, centering the experience on a tranquil garden with a singular sculptural tree. Natural materials and restrained detailing reinforce a sense of composure, while integrated solar and planted roof planes support long term performance with quiet clarity. Within a conventional neighborhood fabric, the house turns inward, offering stillness, reflection, and a deliberate rhythm of living.
